Consett Consett, has been for sometime a pipedream of its creator. “I wanted to create a portal or gateway that would be accessible to everyone in the consett area as a source of information and for people to perhaps begin communicating as a community online. The Website allows small business somewhere to advertise besides struggling with the local authorities when putting up small signs to try and get their business and their families through this deep recessions.” All suggestions are welcome, as this is for the people, and input about how to improve this service is always appreciated.

Hi everyone,
A letter addressed to me, and in the Secretary's absence, I thought I'd mention it on here. If anyone is interested, please ask me to view the correspondence.
On Sunday December 7th, Willowburn Hospice are holding a special Light Up A Life Rememberence Service at 3:00 pm at St Bedes School Lanchester. During the service they will light up the Xmas tree, sing carols and take some time to remember loved ones.
You can sponsor a light in memory of a loved one, and have their name recorded in a book of Remembrance. You'll also get a Light up a Life pin badge.
For more details or to sponsor a light just contact me. I'll pass the letter to the secretary on his return, but this will be after the event has taken place.
